What is it?

Microneedling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy. At Radiant U we use the MDPen, which is the microneedling device, then the tips that we use contain 12 sterile needles that will cause micro-injuries to the skin. These micro-injuries stimulate collagen and elastin production thus leading to healthier, more youthful and radiant skin.

What to expect?

When you come in for your microneedling treatment, your aesthetician will start off with a numbing cream that will be applied to the area that you’re treating. This numbing cream will stay on for 20-30 minutes. After the numbing cream is cleansed away, your aesthetician will perform the microneedling treatment. After the treatment is finished you can expect your skin to feel tight, warm, and as if you’re sunburned. You will also most likely be red after the treatment, redness and uncomfortableness should subside after a few hours.
